Credit Points

One credit point correlates to a workload of 25 hours.  A two-week language village consisting of 12 days with 8 hours, plus 2 days with 4 hours is thus credited with 4 credit points.

Credit points can generally be transferred within academic institutions for language requirements or as electives.  Both national and international credit transfer policies may vary.

We advise you to consult your home institution for specific information on credit transfer regulations in advance.

Participants studying within the IUNworld family (see Partnerships) may transfer Language Village credits for elective or language courses requirements.  Transfer for project seminar requirements is possible with permission from the responsible dean of the department.
